what's on the turntable, 2013?

still been jamming the new nathan salsburg -- great record. he stands out for me, in the pack of nu-guitar pickers. not least of which cuz he sings on a few tunes. does an archie fisher song, and another tune adapted from a couple old ballads.

none of them were like, mindblowing or anything, but the winner for me was "Crazy Creek" by Chris Hirsch ; some nice fiddle & FAST banjo shredding. Also liked the New Dawn LP which was not bluegrass so much as bar-band country.
