I need a better copy of 24-Carat Black. I have a really crappy bootleg of it. Pressed too quiet.

feel like all I've been talking about on here lately is some bootleg or repress I have. I'm not an all-originals baller like you dudes.

id never heard it before this week, and wow -- 24-carat black is so good, man. it's a singular record. now that i found out the numero thing is an unreleased 2nd record, i think ill pick that up!

I found a copy of 24-Carat Black in Indiana at a resale shop but only a few songs on side b play and even then the hiss overpowers the music. Nothing else in soul sounds quite like it, wish I had a better copy. And that 3 Pieces 'Vibes of Truth' is one of the best soul records on fantasy!

just let that 3 PIECES one go on waxidermy -- it was a little squelchier/funkier than my normal M.O., but i liked listening!

Hey Ian, most of the records I'm finding are local bluegrass or fiddle records, I.m going to send them to you tomorrow, along with this exotica record you must have!

This record is so good. I know, it looks like Hawaiian exotica but it's actually mellow lounge/soft rock. One of the most simple and compelling listens I've found in while.
