if you google it the only info of note is an ILX post from me being like "this record is okay, it's not that great."

one dis leads to another (ian), Wednesday, 18 July 2012 19:44 (thirteen years ago)

is there any actual "psych" to be heard on it?

scott seward, Wednesday, 18 July 2012 20:25 (thirteen years ago)

Wish I could add that to my tax scam collection, but we just bought a big truck and John Villemonte's second record 'This' is up for sale!

JacobSanders, Thursday, 19 July 2012 02:52 (thirteen years ago)

i like what i've heard of his first

bad wife decisions (electricsound), Thursday, 19 July 2012 03:11 (thirteen years ago)

His first record is golden! I don't know know what the second one is like but I've got deep pockets.

JacobSanders, Thursday, 19 July 2012 04:56 (thirteen years ago)

man re-listening to this haselden record, it is better than i remember.
no regrets though. i cut my hours at work down a bit so i need to compensate by selling rekkerds.

one dis leads to another (ian), Thursday, 19 July 2012 14:40 (thirteen years ago)

his 2nd album is one of my favorite records.

scott seward, Thursday, 19 July 2012 15:39 (thirteen years ago)

uh the villemonte. i feel bad that i sold my copy of his 3rd album. i liked that too and didn't get much for it. he sells them all on cd on his website.

scott seward, Thursday, 19 July 2012 15:40 (thirteen years ago)

its like another world...

scott seward, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 17:46 (thirteen years ago)

Has anyone used the term "freak folk" since 2006?

Evan, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 17:58 (thirteen years ago)

i totally have. usually using air quotes though.

scott seward, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:04 (thirteen years ago)

Sea Shanties???

JacobSanders, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:16 (thirteen years ago)

they got rid of northern soul as an r&b option which is weird because that's what everyone uses for any r&b record no matter what it is. and i was just gonna use it for this barbara lewis record i'm putting up. had to settle for "soul".

scott seward, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:27 (thirteen years ago)

they don't have vg- as a grading option.

scott seward, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:46 (thirteen years ago)

where the FUCK is spiritual jazz

69, Wednesday, 19 September 2012 18:54 (thirteen years ago)

Q: is the LP wet on the pics? Does she have audible scratches? No toc-toc- ...!?? Regards, Bodo
A: ha! no, it isn't wet. that would be silly to take a picture of a wet record. and no she doesn't have any audible scratches. and definitely no toc-toc.

scott seward, Saturday, 22 September 2012 14:55 (thirteen years ago)

two weeks pass...

My record has 10 watchers! is that decent for being up one day? Selling records is nerve wreaking!!

JacobSanders, Monday, 8 October 2012 19:42 (thirteen years ago)

for one day that's good!

omar little, Monday, 8 October 2012 19:43 (thirteen years ago)

I just notice that my listings say I do not accept returns. Ebay won't let me change this is revisions for the listings. Should I write in the description that I accept returns within 14 days or just let them be?

JacobSanders, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 19:50 (thirteen years ago)

yeah, if u can change the listings, do it!

69, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:00 (thirteen years ago)

i dont think thats gonna stop many ppl from bidding though tbh

69, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:00 (thirteen years ago)

i've only ever had one return, a rare oop look copy of a gentle waves LP that was in merely "ok" shape. dude returned it and it was destroyed en route. he didn't pack it well. mfer.

omar little, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:06 (thirteen years ago)

Ebay won't let you change your return policy on the listing, but I was thinking I would write in the description that I accept returns. Why wouldn't ebay let you change it?

JacobSanders, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:07 (thirteen years ago)

it probably has something to do with people changing it the other way around i imagine?

omar little, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:13 (thirteen years ago)

yeah that makes perfect sense.

JacobSanders, Tuesday, 9 October 2012 20:21 (thirteen years ago)

Still no bids on Sweet Inspirations, a little nervous. It was been viewed almost 200 times, but only has 9 watchers, down from 10. The rest of my records have been viewed 10 or 15 times, so that's something...

JacobSanders, Thursday, 11 October 2012 15:44 (thirteen years ago)

i bid on the sweet inspirations.

i guess i'd just rather listen to canned heat? (ian), Friday, 12 October 2012 01:50 (thirteen years ago)
