Hello,
Just writing to inform all stores & distributors who buy from Mississippi Records that there will be a bit of a shake up in the coming weeks on how our company operates. Our hope is that the final result will be a far more efficient & user friendly distribution system & more quality releases coming out faster & more furious.

Here's the lowdown - Two of the owners of the Mississippi label, Eric Isaacson & Warren Hill, are splitting the record label & distribution business into two separate entities.

Warren, who has been running a large amount of our distribution for the past couple years will still be running a distro under the same email address - mississippirecor✧✧✧@gm✧✧✧.c✧✧ - under the business name Little Axe Distribution. He will still be carrying Mississippi titles as well as other odds & ends.

Eric Isaacson & Alex Yusimov will be running a separate distribution business under the name Mississippi Sounds. Alex will be the primary contact for the distribution end of things & can be reached through this email account. We will be carrying Mississippi Sounds titles & other select small labels. We plan on implementing easier to deal with payment options & more regularity & consistency then in the past.

All parties involved are still on good terms & we plan on sharing information & referring customers to each others distribution businesses when one of us is low on stock on any titles while the other is flush. We are not considering each other competition but rather coexisting friendly businesses. There will be some differences in our stock as far as other label distribution and certain titles as you will see with our first update.
