i like listening to stuff i get in that i would never ordinarily listen to. like drum & bass. and "broken beat" and stuff.

drum n bass is one kind of music that i just don't 'get' really. some of the more 'chill' stuff i guess i like but a lot of it just hurts my ears.

once tried to have my friend ben explain to me all about gabber and jungle and whatever but i didn't really retain much of that conversation.

i like gabber! but i like metal, so i would. i mean, i like techno way more than drum & bass. even the stuff related to D&B that is all breakbeats and stuff makes me wish i was just listening to rap. and likewise the dub or reggae-related stuff just makes me want to hear actual dub and reggae.
