^^ recommend this. that is actually denim and a pocket on the cover. country-folk with harmonies and some electric guitar, though not quite /fuzz/ per se. good record.

well, I mean, humble opinion - you've gotta love the 'Tough Guys' soundtrack becuz the sample of the Isaac Hayes music formed the backing track for the greatest hip-hop track of all time, "Mind's Playing Tricks on Me"

New meercaz seven inch. A-side has a british invasion feel or like a new england garage band ballad feel or something? I haven't pinned it down.

always see her albums in the international section, but assumed would be corny world beat or whatever, but this album is damn near amazing. wonderful songwriting, great production. electronics, beats, fretless bass. weirdly kinda like kate bush.

scott, do you have this? it's pretty cool. white hippies playing freakout east meets west indian rock music. there's a bit of a west coast vibe going on. vocal harmonies. some funky drums. some straight ragas. sometimes sounds like what the byrds coulda become had they not wanted to be cowboys and every song was like 8 miles high. kinda weird. they probably stank real bad
