Allman Brothers - Eat a Peach
Space Ritual is one of those records that I buy whenever I see it, it's always a good gift.
I've only ever found it once on vinyl, though, and it was a VG+ priced for 18 dollars at Shangri La in Memphis.
I picked it out and walked straight to the register with it it. Dude behind the counter looked PISSED about the price, couldn't understand it, but he didn't try to change it or anything. It's the six panel gatefold, too! I've bought two different versions of it on cd.

i bought an Oregon record once and posted about it on a noise thread and hstencil (RIP) totally ripped me one for buying it. i don't remember liking it, but think i might be into it now?

kinda like how road and icarus by paul winter probably aren't rated by a lot of hepcats, but there is great stuff there.

We used to have space ritual for like nothin and no one bought it. It would be the hundredth such treasure at that store, which has been closed two years now. I didn't know it was a thing! In the spirit of this thread, my turntable has on it The Uncollected Shepherd Fields Vol. 2. Good arrangements and that's about it. Not a bad band but a goony singer and dull romantic stalkery material. The guy who owned the store where I worked a long time ago just opened a place in Chattanooga.

He was funny. I remember putting on was not saw's first album and he thought it was gay. And I didn't pick it up because of tha_t even though I bought gayer shit every week.
