Hey Scott, is that Werewolves LP good?? What does it sound like? (Probably kicking myself, since I passed up a $1 copy at a flea market two Saturdays ago.)

honestly, i don't think either werewolves album is that great. i think they only had two? andrew loog oldham's young rolling stones thing is good on some tracks. they have a kind of pre-black crowes vibe on the rockers. but the other stuff is just weak. i mean, for a dollar you might want to check them out some time. but i wouldn't really recommend them for more than that.

I got that Aztec Camera album for the first time recently. Like it. I always really liked the late '80s/early '90s Verlaines (the Some Disenchanted Evening and Ready to Fly albums) and Roddy Frame on that album is the one songwriter I know that seems similar.
