i really like Command in general, but this album is kind of a let down. Not actually a bad album or anything, but that Tjader album is so damn groovy, and then Cugat is ridic OTT in his own way, and then this is just more like ez/bubblegum which throws some cold water on my mood. I think the next lp is going to bring it all back home though...

Zach Cale IS my buddy! And keegan's, too. He's great! he has two awesome LPs out, one on John Allen's "New World of Sound" label and one on his own All Hands Electric. I believe there's a new one in the can as well, coming out sometime..

i saw that Gino Soccio album the other day at Reckless but passed over it. is it good? I guess I always get him confused with Gino Vanelli. but Gino Vanelli is "Stop" dude, and Gino Soccio is like hip Italo or something? i need to get this stuff straight
