scott seward, Saturday, 22 May 2010 19:50 (sixteen years ago)

yeah, yikes man, that's a great haul! i wish i could find sales like that in new york. maybe i have to get my head out of my ass.

that lollipop shoppe isn't an original, is it?

ian, Saturday, 22 May 2010 19:51 (sixteen years ago)

Crab Calloway (Nijoli), Saturday, 22 May 2010 20:29 (sixteen years ago)

scott, the lollipop shoppe album (which is just colour, i hadn't looked at everything that closely when i typed that list) is original, as far as i can tell. all the records i picked up looked fine, but most of the sleeves have varying degrees of ringwear, one of the united states of america copies had split seems, but i picked it up to give to a friend as the label looked fine. didn't get to talk to the guy selling everything too much, but he apparently used to own zuma music in malibu, which closed a couple of months ago. he said everything that was a solid VG+ to Mint he was gonna throw on ebay.

lpz, Saturday, 22 May 2010 20:49 (sixteen years ago)

jaxon, Sunday, 23 May 2010 02:07 (sixteen years ago)

just sold a buncha cds. got 170$ in credit. bought a few records. first time in a store in maybe months. i spent like 3hrs

Stormy Davis, Sunday, 23 May 2010 02:57 (sixteen years ago)

ha. i've never actually listened to the nuge (besides the amboy dukes record i have), but i've wanted a copy of stranglehold forever.

jaxon, Sunday, 23 May 2010 03:03 (sixteen years ago)

the between song stage patter on 'Double Live' is just insane. hopefully you'll chuckle. his first album for Epic (s/t) has the original studio of Stranglehood and it's pretty consistently great all the way through...

Stormy Davis, Sunday, 23 May 2010 03:13 (sixteen years ago)

ian, Sunday, 23 May 2010 04:19 (sixteen years ago)
