^^ whoa okay, okay, this record is aiiiiiight. takes some suspense-of-disbelief to get into the whole AVANT GARDE theater voices that are like textbook 1964. like, anti-mumblecore. but like, the score is immediately awesome. this copy came with a playbill from a 1964 berkeley performance and the script.

hey xhuxk, thanks for the offer on the Tom Johnston! but actually I think I was just more surprised that he went solo -- I never knew that. nearly 30 minutes on side 1! doesn't sound bad though. record companies. I just don't understand why something like this (55+ minutes) is a single LP, and they make something like the last Dylan lp ('Together Through Life', not the Christmas thing), which was a 45 minute record, as a 2 LP set. maddening!!
