I LOVE those WLIR shows from their Ultrasonic studios. Every tuesday in the early 70s they'd invite another band in & broadcast live for an hour with a small audience. They got so many cool bands: Big Star, Incredible String Band, Gentle Giant, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Frampton's Camel, Lou Reed, Holy Modal Rounders... Some are official released, others show up periodically on dimeadozen. The Lou Reed one is out on vinyl, to get things back on topic.

i'm listening to a cd! a really good one though. double-disc live (at cormack planetarium in providence) collaborations between area c and mudboy/black forest black sea/eyes like saucers. the tracks are too long for vinyl. Sedimental is my favorite Greenfield Massachusetts record label. they put out vinyl sometimes too.

happy & artie? rock or folk probz. it's not that common but it sells for very little. keegan just found a copy at mercer street books for $12, which is a bit high imo. it is a very nice copy though.

i don't know. i've paid $18 for records i listen to & enjoy less. but with shipping and stuff, yeah.

can't recommend the awesome charlie d and milo article in the newest ugly things enough. very informative. though the writer has some rather stunted ideas about country rock in his intro.
