I'm not hugely prideful about my records tbh, as long as they play reasonably okay I'm fine with it, but I have a plan to finance her further education with some of my White Stripes rarities, so might shift those to the loft in the near future!

I've found that being prideful about any material possessions (including the clothes you are wearing) is generally incompatible with the yogurt-and-applesauce-covered whirlwind of destruction that is my darling Ivy.

been a couple weeks now -- she has complained a little bit about "all the work" but I think that is just that summer feeling lingering... only real issue is that she is in a different class than most of her friends from kindergarten. but hopefully some new friendships will develop.
