yeah it is totally creepy! looking a little worse for wear too, after it was washed away in last year's flood. sylvie loves the dude though.

how did you ID that as an ant? Do ants have teeth? Are those even teeth? So weird. lovely little gal.

Sunny's been at a work conference since Saturday. We're picking her up at the airport tonight.

Six very full days, just the three of us. I didn't know it last week, but we had nothing to be nervous about. We got out the door on-time to school each morning. We ate our dinners at night. Beeps has been behaving much higher than her seven years as I've tucked in Hammer each night and got him to sleep while she's fended for herself. (By lying in Mama's spot on the couch and watching TV, some hard work there.) I figured DHS (Dept of Human Services in this state, though the other one as well) would be called by now, but instead, we've got a relatively clean house, some full bellies, and a family that very much misses our matriarch.

lol. yes. That is one of the three. I've ordered more to help remedy our desperate desperate laundry situation. He's so serious about it that last night he went to bed wearing a for crying out loud turtleneck rather than any of the 30 or so properly fitted shirts in his drawer that might happen to have a cartoon character on it.

It is an already ruined garden hose. We poked holes in it to serve as a sort of sprinkler in the summertime. I just hope it doesn't totally rip while he's hanging upside-down or swinging on it.
