Man Utd have called a halt to talks over potential transfer of Christian Eriksen because they think if he does leave Spurs, he would prefer move to Spain. Utd still in talks with other targets, although so close to deadline, chances of getting any deals done is not high.

I don't think there are many clubs where one player is the difference between staying up and relegation but that's definitely the case for Palace. I'd shut it down in that position as well.

best case scenario is he stays and gets a 9-month injury

The only way it would work would be if Levy's decided the current wage structure is unsustainable. Realistically, idk if Harry Kane is going to be happy earning exactly half as much per week as Aaron Ramsey, for the next six years.

Don't they have a ridiculous bonus system that means their real earnings are significantly higher than their weekly reported wage though?
