Hull are the team to beat, Bradley is the fans' favourite and Moyes will always fancy his chances with this side, but who will end up last this season?

Hull are being deliberately destroyed by a dick with a grudge so there's your best bet.

Swansea look doomed, just really paper thin in midfield and at the back and Bradley is almost comically in over his head. They were a breath of fresh air for a while and in Joe Allen and Leon Britton they had players who could be relied upon to keep possession but hardly anyone else plays like that now and those two players have never been adequately replaced, to the extent that Britton is still getting a game for them at the age of 45 or whatever.

But I wouldn't want to underestimate Mike Phelan.

Harsh poll cut-off, with West Ham just one point above M'brough. It will probably be Hull though.

Phelan hasn't even been terrible. Hull's squad is wafer-thin, their only hope was a new owner being sorted out before the window - and yet Allam, or more likely his son, who seems to be day-to-day running the show, has been turning down perfectly reasonable offers and nobody can work out why except for spite at the way the relationship with the fans has soured. Bruce walked out because of Allam Jr, not that I think he'd've helped the situation. Phelan has at least worked out that drawing every game to the end of the season isn't going to keep them up, and they're playing more positively given that they've got maybe 2 fit strikers tops.

Probably harsh on Boro, who can at least defend a bit and grind out draws, and tbh I think there's no chance it'll be Leicester but thought some lad might want to vote for them. West Ham are looking ropey and could continue to slowly degrade and end up relegated, but finishing 20th is another matter

Swansea might be the most likely to improve their squad in January. If Defoe gets injured Sunderland surely a shoe in. Pardew can't stay in a job long enough to finish 20th, would require a sacking and a disastrous appointment. Feels wrong to vote against Snodgrass but it's Hull

Snodgrass is holding that team together, he deserves a better club right now, or at least better owners.

Rock Wokeman (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 21 December 2016 10:31 (seven years ago) link

Boro are the only team in the poll who I'd feel confident saying they definitely won't go down. They're awkward bastards and they've beaten a lot of the teams around them.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 21 December 2016 11:07 (seven years ago) link

Snodgrass just turned down a new contract at Hull FWIW.

i don't think there's a City fan I know who'll blame him

Oh shit the Palace Christmas party was last night. I hope he went for Mrs Parish in an act of pure nihilism.
