Nice enough finish from Soldado.

Stuart Armstrong! Holy fuck!

Townsend and walker just high performing versions of themselves tonight. no end product whatsoever.

local eire man (darraghmac), Thursday, 19 February 2015 21:18 (four years ago) Permalink

jordan ibe has been great tonight again

tayto fan (Michael B), Thursday, 19 February 2015 21:50 (four years ago) Permalink

oh hey paolo, been missing your input on anglo-scots club relations recently

r|t|c, Thursday, 19 February 2015 22:24 (four years ago) Permalink

Some comedy stuff from Celtic tonight but I still think Inter are there for the taking.

Romeo Daltrey (Tom D.), Thursday, 19 February 2015 22:36 (four years ago) Permalink

Some comedy stuff, as usual in Europe, that is.

Romeo Daltrey (Tom D.), Thursday, 19 February 2015 22:37 (four years ago) Permalink

So shit from Soldado.... absolutely criminal for a striker to screw up a 2 on 1

JLB Credit (Jack BS), Thursday, 26 February 2015 18:35 (four years ago) Permalink

Fucking hell Fazio, of all the players on the pitch to give a comedy assist to.

Another goal would lead to extra time now and basically kill our final on Sunday, so I dunno how I feel about the rest of the game now.

Matt DC, Thursday, 26 February 2015 19:15 (four years ago) Permalink

extra time for liverpool, not good for the game against man city either

tayto fan (Michael B), Thursday, 26 February 2015 19:54 (four years ago) Permalink

lol smh itv4 cutting out just in time for the pens

Rainbow DAESH (ShariVari), Thursday, 26 February 2015 20:41 (four years ago) Permalink

....and Lovren blasts it a mile wide

tayto fan (Michael B), Thursday, 26 February 2015 20:41 (four years ago) Permalink

why Lovren to take that peno? idgi

tayto fan (Michael B), Thursday, 26 February 2015 20:42 (four years ago) Permalink

Lovren eclipses Carroll as worst signing ever in an impressively quick time.

ewar woowar (or something), Thursday, 26 February 2015 20:47 (four years ago) Permalink

hes fairly bad alright

tayto fan (Michael B), Thursday, 26 February 2015 20:50 (four years ago) Permalink

Torino down to ten men after half an hour. 2 justified yellows. They'd completely stifled Zenit with ease until then.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:30 (four years ago) Permalink

Hulk gets dispossessed more than any player I've ever seen.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:36 (four years ago) Permalink

Witzel 1-0. Torino have been defending the width of the box quite well, but that was neat play by Zenit.

"He can argue all he wants he has no argument there" - Danny Higginbotham.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 17:45 (four years ago) Permalink

palacio 1-0 after Schurrle sloppily gives the ball away. Tentatively suggest this Wolfsburg vs Inter game will be an end to end classic.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 18:08 (four years ago) Permalink

Schurrle has been astonishingly bad thus far.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 18:21 (four years ago) Permalink

Naldo powers in a header from a de bruyne corner.1-1.

my word rodriguez has put in a couple of absolutely beautiful crosses

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 18:30 (four years ago) Permalink

de bruyne 2-1. awful 'pass' from inter keeper straight to vierinha on to kdb, goal

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 19:22 (four years ago) Permalink

de bruyne free kick 3-1. keeper woreful again. stood behind wall and couldn't see the ball.

pandemic, Thursday, 12 March 2015 19:34 (four years ago) Permalink

this has been great & frantic, you wonder why everton don't play like this in the epl

vacuum head tree disease (imago), Thursday, 12 March 2015 21:43 (four years ago) Permalink

Everton 3-1 down after 37mins. Their defence is SO BAD. Couple of great goals (yarmolenko and lukaku)

Blandford Forum, Thursday, 19 March 2015 18:38 (four years ago) Permalink

What has happened to Roma recently? They have been awful.

Rainbow DAESH (ShariVari), Thursday, 19 March 2015 19:21 (four years ago) Permalink

5-1 down now, another wonderful strike (antunes)

Blandford Forum, Thursday, 19 March 2015 19:37 (four years ago) Permalink

Best league in the world, guv.

Walking Close to Melton Mowbray (Tom D.), Thursday, 19 March 2015 19:48 (four years ago) Permalink

Roma were so terrible tonight it was bordering on the criminal. Goalie lols for the 2nd, non-existent marking for the 3rd. Ljanic sent off at the end. Shambles. They've barely won a game this year.

pandemic, Thursday, 19 March 2015 19:59 (four years ago) Permalink

Once I saw Alcatraz was playing for Everton and Howard was in goal then the result was inevitable. No English teams involved in Euro QF's for the first time in 20 years!

pandemic, Thursday, 19 March 2015 20:01 (four years ago) Permalink

watching wolfsburg on delay, another assist by kevin de bruyne.

pandemic, Thursday, 19 March 2015 21:22 (four years ago) Permalink

Bendtner seals it

Napoli, Wolfsburg, Kiev, Zenit, Brugges, Fiorentina, Sevilla, Ajax/Dnipro

pandemic, Thursday, 19 March 2015 21:52 (four years ago) Permalink

Do Ajax fans always sing that one bob marley song?

Blandford Forum, Thursday, 19 March 2015 22:02 (four years ago) Permalink

Not singing anymore.

Rainbow DAESH (ShariVari), Thursday, 19 March 2015 22:06 (four years ago) Permalink

so the russian and ukrainian teams aren't allowed to play each other. hardly a free draw then.

Sevilla with the perfect away performance so far, early goal and chances on the break.

pandemic, Thursday, 23 April 2015 19:57 (four years ago) Permalink

Howler from Beto, Rondon taps in. Game on. So awful from the keeper.

pandemic, Thursday, 23 April 2015 20:11 (four years ago) Permalink

Beto so shook that Hulk decides to shoot from about 35 yards away on the right touchline, off the bar and in. Outrageous.

two weeks pass...

Zenit were 3-0 down vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv with 13 minutes to go, currently 3-4 up.

Dundalk seem to have secured a point away in the Netherlands. Full-strength United team a minute away from failing to do the same.

On a Raqqa tip (ShariVari), Thursday, 15 September 2016 18:52 (two years ago) Permalink

Was posting in the PL thread already, ManU were woeful.

Le Bateau Ivre, Thursday, 15 September 2016 18:53 (two years ago) Permalink

Can't see de Boer lasting more than a couple of weeks at this rate. Inter losing 2-0 to Hapoel Beer Sheva at home.

On a Raqqa tip (ShariVari), Thursday, 15 September 2016 20:36 (two years ago) Permalink

one month passes...

^ lol just came looking for this thread to say "christ but inter look desperate". this is the first time i've seen them play since last Autumn/Xmas when they were winning a ton of games and it seemed like they might've got their shit together at last. showing nothing tonight.

You can already see where Saints next batch of big money sales are gonna come from. Hojbjerg looks very dynamic

Windsor Davies, Thursday, 20 October 2016 17:43 (two years ago) Permalink

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 19:53 (two years ago) Permalink

Sheer managerial genius by Mourinho to leave the bag o' shite on the field till the 89th minute.

Millions of species Faye Dunaway (Tom D.), Thursday, 3 November 2016 19:53 (two years ago) Permalink

might have been a different story with valencia on instead of darmian, but that was such a shit performance

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 20:03 (two years ago) Permalink

The overwhelming shitness of United is slightly baffling, theres some good players there. So bad in midfield tonight too. Mkhitaryan so bad too when he came on

Xp Darmian not one of them obv

Neptune Bingo (Michael B), Thursday, 3 November 2016 20:06 (two years ago) Permalink

I actually despise Darmian. A nothing player Bill

so many cowards in the team though

the mind reels at the thought of our midfield on the weekend with Pogba and Herrera out

Number None, Thursday, 3 November 2016 20:17 (two years ago) Permalink

There's always Carrick but I guess fellaini will be recalled from the circus. Pisser that pereira is out on loan cos I thought he was tremendous. Wonder if Mou will ever give Tim fm some games?

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 20:45 (two years ago) Permalink

Memphis Depay still languishing there too

Neptune Bingo (Michael B), Thursday, 3 November 2016 21:42 (two years ago) Permalink

imago, Thursday, 3 November 2016 21:49 (two years ago) Permalink

i'm impressed, that's all

imago, Thursday, 3 November 2016 21:49 (two years ago) Permalink

Watched Ajax tonight because fml. They cruised to a comfy 3-0 and got embarrassingly close to being held to a draw in the end, 3-2 to Celta de Vigo.

Kasper Dolberg tho, he's the real deal. What a gifted player. Get yer scouts to Amsterdam to scoop that kid up asap.

Trump le Monde (Le Bateau Ivre), Thursday, 3 November 2016 21:57 (two years ago) Permalink

He can stay there imo, sadly I don't think he'll ever turn the corner at united. Always so tense when he comes on, nothing ever really works for him going forwards and he's a bit lazy tbh when it comes to tracking back. Memph needs to be cut loose and set free

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 21:58 (two years ago) Permalink

Memphis, Schneiderlin, Darmian, Fellaini, Rooney, all need to go

Zlatan was a mistake too

Number None, Thursday, 3 November 2016 22:05 (two years ago) Permalink

Yep

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 22:14 (two years ago) Permalink

when he was signed I expected him to rotate with Rashford in the centre forward position. Which would have been fine, and offered some good attacking variation. Instead he's become the new undroppable and plays 90 minutes basially every game, and Rashford is shunted out wide even though we desperately need movement up front.

Made absolutely no sense to bring him on when Pogba got injured either, especially with Rooney also on the pitch. Spent most of the game strolling around the centre circle. I swear at one point Mata was playing as striker ffs

Number None, Thursday, 3 November 2016 22:22 (two years ago) Permalink

and it was zlatan's foul in defence that gave away the free kick for the second goal iirc

Rae Kwoniff (NickB), Thursday, 3 November 2016 22:37 (two years ago) Permalink

as if scholesy isn't loving this, deep down. if he could have been a pundit while he was still playing the hovis ad that is his subconscious would have found a way to criticise the latest version of himself.
