it seems Derby are deep in the shit and their inability to find a new owner is further complicated by Steve Gibson still going for £45m compensation for them depriving the Prem of everyone's fave away trip by cheating P+S rules and finishing ahead of them in a playoff spot. Oh yeah and Wycombe were tragically relegated to L1 because of their FFP breaking shenanigans as well.. lol!

There was that time in the prem when West Ham coughed up £20m to the relegated Blades over the Tevez business. But Middlesbrough's claim seems pretty dodgy to me. And as for Wycombe, when you get into the playoffs via the duckworth lewis method then don't complain when shit happens.

Tino Anjorin is joining us on rest of season loan from Chelsea, we've had a lot of good use from their best youth players in recent times. If he's anywhere near as good as Levi Colwell has been this season then it's a bit of a coup for us. Especially as Southampton were also in for him.

The mighty Bradford City selling their club captain Niall Canavan to Barrow for an undisclosed fee is not making me laugh as much as it would have done 20 years ago.

I am pleased to see we have loaned some lad from Huddersfield to replace the guy we loaned from Barrow (he got injured after 1.25 matches, scored once) to replace our main striker who got injured. Maybe they'll all be back and scoring for fun come the end of the season.

Statistically speaking, though, this chap from Huddersfield is due a nasty injury some time in the next three games.

Which featured a 10 minute cameo against us a couple of weeks ago, which no-one seems able to remember. (Apparently they were playing him on the wing and neither he nor Hudders wanted that - he’ll certainly be played at centre forward for Exeter.

we seem to have the best crop of youth players in our entire history, this is the first time I've seen multiple players out on L1/L2 loans who are consistently getting rave reviews.

Phillips suffered a 2 year layoff due to a degenerative knee issue which had him bed-ridden for 3 months. The club just tied him down to his first long-term contract so they obviously rate him. The Walsall loan showed he's over his injuries and up to the rigour of regular football and 5 goals isn't a bad return when they were deploying on either side rather than as a CF.

Sounds hopeful! Hope his pins hold up.

I'm so happy that Phillips scored the winner on his debut against the chickens! On Radio Leeds most the talk was about Matt Daly who we've loaned to Bradford and scored 8 from midfield whilst at Hartlepool. But no, it was Kieran's day today!

It was a fun game, bit nervy at the end mind. I think I counted six separate songs piling abuse onto puffa-coated panto villain. Derek Adams. Bradford had the off chance but were mostly woeful. Fifth time we’ve played them this season, they haven’t beaten us once. “Derek Adams, it’s happening again”.

I’ve nothing against Bradford City but if you’re going to attract these big crowds by making the season tickets 50p each , it’s not going to do you much good if they all just main and grumble.

they seem more obsessed with their big-club status (fans, owner and local bbc team) than even those Wednesdayites are. On RL yesterday one of their commentary team was talking about how Daly might be initially a little fazed by their absolutely huuuge crowds after previously playing at a club as small as t'monkey hangers. I mean obviously cheap tickets is a good thing, but consistently giving it large about how maaassive your club is gets very tedious. hah! one of their fans was commenting that we had banks of empty seats against the blades yesterday, like yes you do get banks of empty seats on 12.30 sky tv games if you aren't Man Utd!

another one of my beefs with Bradford is that during their short lived prem era they were putting season ticket adverts in parts of the Heavy Woollen District that were always split between Hudds/Leeds. They thought they were bigger than NATO.

it was fun listening to the sky commentary spend the first half hour of the match wanking over and raving about how unstoppable Fulham are while we made them look quite stoppable and took a 2-0 lead. One of them a soft penalty, but perhaps a bit of payback to that cheating thug Mitrovic. If we had an ordinary keeper this probably would have been a draw at best. But even the Fulham commentary guy was saying that Nicholls is probably the best keeper in the championship he's seen by miles. Not bad for a freebie who couldn't even get a game at MK Franchise last season.

There are already rumours they want Corberan in next and who can blame them, he took on a very hard job and so far, after a difficult first season has overachieved without having fuck all money to spend!
