This new Mouriniho is rather unsettling
― groovypanda, Tuesday, 26 November 2019 22:31 (six years ago)
i tend to agree that it cannot last, danny rose would turn anyone, let alone mourinho on a knife edge
― deems of internment (darraghmac), Tuesday, 26 November 2019 22:32 (six years ago)
He is much more interesting and compulsive now than he was at man u and regular viewers may know I'm a liverpool fan who was enjoying him running them into the ground. You just dont know what's gonna happen here. Maybe as a man who learns from his mistakes and matures he wont suddenly chuck it all in but... it's interesting waiting for it
The guy is charismatic what can you do
― or something, Tuesday, 26 November 2019 23:25 (six years ago)
Dele's been improving with each game since coming back into the team but was shite for most of the first half here. Aurier plays very well 85% of the time & is scapegoated often to avoid pointing the finger at Alderweireld imho. I'm tentatively positive about Mou so far, simplifying, calming, encouraging. Who knew? Was horrible how anxy they were till the soft 1st Spurs goal.
― lilcraigyboi (Craigo Boingo), Wednesday, 27 November 2019 06:18 (six years ago)
I mean the best thing about Mourinho has usually been his ability to make quick, decisive, game changing substitutions and with the exception of CF we will usually have a strong bench.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 27 November 2019 09:04 (six years ago)
Eriksen's performance was heartening as well.
― Matt DC, Wednesday, 27 November 2019 09:05 (six years ago)
What's Levy's plan with Eriksen? IS he still hoping to sell him off this January, or has he accepted he'll walk out on a free next summer?
― Le Bateau Ivre, Wednesday, 27 November 2019 09:07 (six years ago)
still offering terms i think
im not bothered by the difference between a pittance and a gap in jan vs free and a replacement in summer tbh

Napoli are a tough but to crack
Now, not to get beaten 2-0 away to Salzburg in the next game
― The World According To.... (Michael B), Wednesday, 27 November 2019 22:06 (six years ago)
*tough nut
They haven't won in six games. Seven now.
― 'Skills' Wallace (Tom D.), Wednesday, 27 November 2019 22:23 (six years ago)

Minamino looks a player
― Number None, Tuesday, 10 December 2019 18:22 (six years ago)
He does. I've no idea RBS can keep up using this much energy, but kudos. Salah and Mane could've scored, but RBS could've twice as well.
― Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 10 December 2019 18:28 (six years ago)
That should've been the 1-0, damn. (after a magnificent save by Stankovic on the other side)
― Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 10 December 2019 19:03 (six years ago)
Salah o_O

Ajax eliminated by a grindcore Valencia. You simply love to see it.
― Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 10 December 2019 21:54 (six years ago)
Ajax had so many chances particularly near the end.
― The World According To.... (Michael B), Tuesday, 10 December 2019 21:56 (six years ago)
They did. But they lost their cool, they allowed themselves to be bullied out of their game and get frustrated.
― Le Bateau Ivre, Tuesday, 10 December 2019 22:00 (six years ago)

They'd better win it this season then.
― Load up your rubber wallets (Tom D.), Friday, 14 February 2020 18:40 (six years ago)
Does this mean Spurs can finish 5th and still qualify?
― groovypanda, Friday, 14 February 2020 18:41 (six years ago)
It might mean somebody can
― babby bitter (Noodle Vague), Friday, 14 February 2020 18:44 (six years ago)

Is this one of those “omg cron can go to jail for 20 years due to tax evasion-but won’t” scenarios or will this hold up?
― Le Bateau Ivre, Friday, 14 February 2020 19:35 (six years ago)
I'll be surprised if it does.
― Load up your rubber wallets (Tom D.), Friday, 14 February 2020 19:39 (six years ago)
no doubt wrong but i fancy psg to win the whole thing this season.
atleti have been poor but can see them 0-0 and 1-1 ing their way thru to the next round. i'd take a score draw tonight for lfc.
― oscar bravo, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 11:38 (six years ago)
PSG still trash
― Number None, Tuesday, 18 February 2020 20:48 (six years ago)

― Saxophone Of Futility (Michael B), Tuesday, 18 February 2020 21:01 (six years ago)
