Tottenham have planned a "top-level meeting" to discuss how to deal with Kane's absence over the next couple of months. Loan signings are being considered, as well as the potential promotion of 16-year-old academy striker Troy Parrott.

No pressure Troy

groovypanda, Thursday, 17 January 2019 09:51 (seven years ago)

Troy Parrott, Harry Winks, Oliver Skipp. I have to commend the Tottenham policy of only developing young players with entertaining names.

my client skipp can kick a ball very far away

topical mlady (darraghmac), Thursday, 17 January 2019 10:15 (seven years ago)

Yeah, yeah, whatever, does he prefer Oliver and Olly? Either way, we've very excited about his name.

They have less ringers than many European national squads tbh.

but hmm listening in, it didnt have that ring to it

deemsthelarker (darraghmac), Thursday, 9 May 2019 18:15 (seven years ago)

Almost every major club in Europe is potentially in the market for a new manager. I can see him leaving but a bidding war between Juve, Barca, PSG, Bayern, etc, wouldn’t be the worst way to lose him and there might be a few decent replacements circulating.

ShariVari, Thursday, 9 May 2019 19:32 (seven years ago)

rumours in the Italian press are that Allegri is going to PSG and Conte is going back to Juve

Number None, Thursday, 9 May 2019 19:49 (seven years ago)

three weeks pass...

big club with a small mentality

Non, je ned raggette rien (onimo), Sunday, 2 June 2019 11:05 (seven years ago)

They seem to be kind of ashamed of being thought of as a big club.

godfellaz (darraghmac), Wednesday, 5 June 2019 10:45 (seven years ago)

the days are long once again. the modules are being prepared for delivery. is it time for a transfer thread?

FernandoHierro, Wednesday, 5 June 2019 10:50 (seven years ago)

I would certainly think so

Uptown VONC (Le Bateau Ivre), Wednesday, 5 June 2019 10:51 (seven years ago)

keeping it spurs related, villas-boas to marseille should be fun, especially if balotelli stays.

kinda gutted lfc didn't go for julian brandt and think max kruse would be a good option for spurs can play cf/#10 and is on a free transfer (he is 30 or so tho)

oscar bravo, Wednesday, 5 June 2019 13:36 (seven years ago)

Eriksen has been playing at a level below what he's capable of for most of the season. Might have something to do with him playing 90mins of every game, including the cups, admittedly. Would be tempted to cash in but we can't really play without him and there is a lot to be said for a player who can keep up that kind of workrate without ever getting injured.
