yessss just coming to gloat. my brother was having a drink with some Hudds fans at lunchtime apparently, he joined in with a few choruses of "we all hate Leeds"

we havent turned up at all yet tbf. been all Rovers. problem is they're not particularly good
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:25 (seven years ago) link
yeah they couldn't get it together to beat us last weekend and i don't think we had a shot
when Arry took the "job" he said the Bluenoses would only need 4 points to be safe snigger
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:26 (seven years ago) link
dirty Leeds go 1 down :D

omg! calamity!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:40 (seven years ago) link
gdammit i knew this would happen once Hudds were safely in the playoffs
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:41 (seven years ago) link
half arsed marking in the box will still concede against 10 you knuckleheads. Wake up ffs!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:41 (seven years ago) link
Christ tho but Danny Graham is a poor attacker isnt he? quivers like an aspen leaf if he gets so much as a sniff of the ball in any area where he might actually have an opportunity to do some damage or make a decision
they've had a couple of belting chances here Rovers, really not helping themselves
xp ahhhhh fuck offff
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:42 (seven years ago) link
it looks like Blackburn are incapable of saving themselves anyway tbf
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:42 (seven years ago) link
Danny Graham air-kicks from 6 yards out
if i have to i'll just be a grown-up about it and console myself with the thought that City are a good thing for Small Heath and it would be bad news for the neighbourhood were they to get relegated and stay down. slim reed on which to lean but it may have to do
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:48 (seven years ago) link
Brum are definitely going to win this game and stay up :(
^^^^Trying some messageboard Ju Ju here.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 14:55 (seven years ago) link
we now appear to be (rather sportingly) passing the ball patiently around our own area waiting for Blackburn to nick possession, or possibly foul them to give em a free kick near the area. how much help do these guys need ffs
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:07 (seven years ago) link
ya dancerrrrrrrr
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:11 (seven years ago) link
YEEEEEESSSSSSSSS
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:11 (seven years ago) link
give him enough chances and he might hit one eventually
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:12 (seven years ago) link
i take it all back Danny Graham
any cunt on our side taking a shot as of right now wants selling imo. kick it long every time, and don't bother to chase it
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:12 (seven years ago) link
Wells comes on for Huddersfield COME ON
yeah come on you lazy bastards, we have a Villa fan on the pitch ffs!
omg! didn't see a Leeds comeback on the cards.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:14 (seven years ago) link
even have
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:15 (seven years ago) link
It isn't sounding encouraging tbh. Mooy's coming on though, that'll give them something to think about.

trying to listen to fulham brentford on the radio but while the goings-on sound effervescent i cannot help myself singing "i'm stepping it jota this year" and "barbet girl" ott in my head instead
mass pitch invasion in progress at leyton orient obv

and Norwich go down to 10 men ;_;
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:48 (seven years ago) link
Forest going down on the last day isn't without appeal, but what we have done today for Brum is criminal. I feel ashamed :(
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 15:53 (seven years ago) link
i'd still fear for Rovers on today's evidence, they only got the win because we were so contemptibly shite (we can stop pretending that we were trying to let it happen now I think). can't see Rovers getting much out of Brentford even if Brentford aren't arsed.
Bristol - Blues harder to call. if only Bristol had a shittier goal difference, it'd actually give them something to play for next week. as it is I could see them clocking off early and just letting the Blues take it
― Windsor Davies, Saturday, 29 April 2017 16:01 (seven years ago) link
In the season Brum relegated us in the last game we were almost in an identical position to them, albeit 2 pts worse off. It can still happen.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 16:04 (seven years ago) link
second season we stayed in the Prem under McCarthy Brum got relegated with a couple of shifts in goal difference between us and them in injury time more or less
may have shouted "fuck YOOOUUUUUUUUU" to a couple of suspected Bluenoses at the far end of the pub, couldn't confirm or deny
― Brexectile dysfunction (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 29 April 2017 16:15 (seven years ago) link
In late November we were bottom of the football league; today we got into the playoffs for the first time in our football league history (though we got to the conference playoffs a couple of times). It's been such a weird season.
― Tim, Saturday, 29 April 2017 22:40 (seven years ago) link
It looked like you were going to drop away the from playoffs recently. I think your impressive unbeaten run abruptly ended right after you mentioned it on here! A good relegation double for the last game would the Bluenoses and The Monkey Hangers!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 22:56 (seven years ago) link
The positive is you will miss the form side Luton in the first round and no-one below looks all that.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 22:59 (seven years ago) link
actually "form side" is probably pushing it!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:00 (seven years ago) link
I've always quite liked Hartlepool, I haven't been for a few years but it was always a good day out and I'd be sorry to see them go out of the league. Having said that I wasn't there on the famous snowy day when some helpful Pools fans put through the windows of our supporters coach, leading to what was apparently quite a chilly 400 mile journey home - had I been, I might be less fond of them.
― Tim, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:08 (seven years ago) link
Can't say I'd be sad to see blues go down though, especially if we go up - I've never been to St Andrews and I don't go to Birmingham enough.
― Tim, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:10 (seven years ago) link
Lol! I love that old smashed windows classic but I don't one of our coaches ever travelled windlowless for that kind of epic. I have nowt against the club really - just sort of thinking of brawling UKIP supporters(see the Torygrph) and the possibly unfair perception of it being a hive of bigotry!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:15 (seven years ago) link
fuck my typing, keep missing words out
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:18 (seven years ago) link
probably over the limit for posting right now, again.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:19 (seven years ago) link
anyways congrats to Exeter and gl in the playoffs, I'll be rooting for them Tim.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:20 (seven years ago) link
Yeah likewise, Town in the top flight would be amazing.
― Tim, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:25 (seven years ago) link
Wednesday are in good form and we never get anything from them in recent history. Vydra seems to score at will against us, see also Rhodes. Fulham put 9 past us in one and a half games. If I'm getting train tickets to London , it wont be football related - but thanx for the kind words!
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:33 (seven years ago) link
"Maybe he's [Wagner] not aware of the way the British game is played, and the integrity of all the leagues," he said.
after reading this from Mowbray I think I want Blackburn to go down now.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:55 (seven years ago) link
Because of course, loads of "understanding the British game" British coaches haven't fucked up many relegation battles for other clubs in the past by sending out the stiffs when the playoffs loom.
― calzino, Saturday, 29 April 2017 23:58 (seven years ago) link
He is from Saltburn on sea which is 20 odd miles down road from Hartlepool!
― calzino, Sunday, 30 April 2017 00:01 (seven years ago) link
In fact it was a distinctly British confluence of twat-managers who colluded (by playing their stiffs) to get us relegated in 2001.
― calzino, Sunday, 30 April 2017 00:14 (seven years ago) link
If it wasn't shame enough that we bottled a chance to send down Brum, now the last straw is one of our lot (young TM acolyte, gormless ToryGirl - Beth Prescott) is odds on fav to win the Dewsbury seat for the Tories. [launches season ticket into bin]
