Looking from the outside it's strange how quickly things have gone wrong for Wolves. It all looked fairly promising a few weeks ago when they spent all that money on Helder Costa and won at Liverpool in the FA Cup.

I feel bad for Paul Lambert and I'm not entirely sure why. He looks like the manager of a Glasgow curry house that's slowly going down the tubes.

We play Wolves immediately after Blackburn, and I feel like we're going to give one of those teams a boost. I know every supporter of every football team in the world comes out with this old OOH THESE ARE THE SORT OF GAMES WE LOSE schtick as a kind of reverse jinx, but we lost 4-0 at home to Bristol City this season so I feel it's justified. Tbf the non-Wagner signings have been inspired, but some of that can be pure dumb luck and not necessarily a skill to bring elsewhere. Some of our lot seem to think he discovered Wagner, but he was on the verge of being offered the Liverpool no.2 spot and had a long association with Klopp. Hardly under the radar really.
