Michael Bradley is a master dribbler now apparently.

klonman, Wednesday, 10 June 2015 22:52 (ten years ago)

Now that we have mastered soccer should we do cricket or rugby next?

Whole lot of that shit out there

But still that dummy/goal combo was so great

dan m, Thursday, 11 June 2015 04:37 (ten years ago)

two months pass...

granted its just a friendly but Klinsmann really needs to show something tonight. esp w/ no Bradley or Dempsey (an exercise that'll probably be good for em).

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Friday, 4 September 2015 13:07 (ten years ago)

ya not sure why but this feels like a higher pressure friendly

just astor (alomar lines), Friday, 4 September 2015 14:19 (ten years ago)

MLS talking heads have certainly been pressuring him, which is so totally lol

ive reddit all your posts and I want a crowdfund (dan m), Friday, 4 September 2015 18:38 (ten years ago)

better on attack than they've been so far, Jozy still with the touch of an elephant.

still some lapses in their own third tho.

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Friday, 4 September 2015 23:53 (ten years ago)

nope, same ole USMNT

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Friday, 4 September 2015 23:57 (ten years ago)

rocket from Jermaine Jones reminiscent of his goal against Portugal in 2014 WC (only this one was saved).

John Brooks takes a sitter that needs to be jsut tapped in and skies it into the fifth row.

*throws up hands*

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 00:17 (ten years ago)

they're starting to wake up

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 00:19 (ten years ago)

1-1.

US looking better on attack, pressing high, much better than I've seen in months.

defense still mediocre as hell tho. still rely way too much on bailouts

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 00:58 (ten years ago)

Guzan amazing save. Diskerud is useless

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 01:04 (ten years ago)

GOALTidore!!!!

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 01:06 (ten years ago)

christ all Diskerud does is retreat from defenders and backpass

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 01:19 (ten years ago)

is this ref just continuing play until Peru scores again

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Saturday, 5 September 2015 01:32 (ten years ago)

jesus fuck

Hammer Smashed Bagels, Wednesday, 9 September 2015 04:01 (ten years ago)

Yeah that was sad, feel bad for the players being put out in that mess. I'm generally pretty pro-Klinsmann but it made no sense, especially the continued use of Orozco who has never amounted to shit for the national team imo, not to mention Bedoya starting as a holding mid.

The inclusion of Cuauhtemoc in Chicago is a nice touch, those were the days.

three weeks pass...

Donovan saying today that Klinsmann should be fired if US loses to Mexico this weekend.

I dunno if I agree with that exactly, but there are a lot of people who do.

New crest is...pretty good. Better than the old one bit I still want the rattlesnake around soccerball one Nike dummied up a while ago.

mizzell, Tuesday, 1 March 2016 00:05 (ten years ago)

The centennial one from last year was my favorite, but the new one's not bad.

Neanderthal, Saturday, 26 March 2016 03:46 (ten years ago)

so the u.s. legitimately stands a good chance of not making the next world cup hey?

what the hell, klinsy?

trickle-down ergonomics (jim in glasgow), Tuesday, 29 March 2016 19:23 (ten years ago)

I read that if they lose tonight, T&T and Guatemala don't have to win another game to make the next round.

I dunno, I've seen them play in ways I never saw before under Klinsmann, but in both very good and very bad ways. They were terrible the other night, for sure. Guate's gk had a hell of a game.

U-23's are playing the second leg of their playoff vs Colombia for an Olympic berth tonight too.

pratt truss it (dan m), Tuesday, 29 March 2016 21:12 (ten years ago)

US has forgotten what it was like to not qualify for decades, maybe a good thing to have their backs against the wall.

but I mean even when they win these days, it's ugly. and on home soil.

Neanderthal, Tuesday, 29 March 2016 21:24 (ten years ago)

Guzan; Yedlin, Birnbaum, Cameron, Castillo; Zusi, Beckerman, Bradley (C); Wood, Dempsey, Zardes

pratt truss it (dan m), Tuesday, 29 March 2016 22:45 (ten years ago)

Beckerman sucks so much ass these days. I heckled him at the Orlando City game.

Neanderthal, Tuesday, 29 March 2016 22:47 (ten years ago)

has Wood done anything since that Germany friendly from eons ago?

Neanderthal, Tuesday, 29 March 2016 22:47 (ten years ago)

Scored 14 goals in the 2nd Bundesliga this season? Not terrible I guess.

pratt truss it (dan m), Tuesday, 29 March 2016 22:53 (ten years ago)

lol I meant for the US. that's pretty good tho.

have plans tonight but might watch a little and hope we don't fuck up too badly.

Neanderthal, Tuesday, 29 March 2016 22:55 (ten years ago)
