wonder if michu to napoli (on loan) means that callejon will now go to atleti?

Looks like Gylfi is off to Palace, which seems like a sensible move.

Pirlo to Spurs rumours starting again, too.
― Wristy Hurlington (ShariVari), Friday, 18 July 2014 08:47 (eleven years ago)
bet he'll be well up for poch's triple training seshes
― r|t|c, Friday, 18 July 2014 08:54 (eleven years ago)
Gylfi really doesn't strike me as a Tony Pulis type.
― Matt DC, Friday, 18 July 2014 08:56 (eleven years ago)
yeah, can't think how a dead ball expert might fit into his plans
― r|t|c, Friday, 18 July 2014 09:00 (eleven years ago)
His dead ball expertise is overstated btw, he had a couple of amazing free kicks for us but not that many. Admittedly we didn't really have the players to get on the end of them properly.
― Matt DC, Friday, 18 July 2014 09:11 (eleven years ago)
i admit it's possible spurs may have ruined him

Brown Ideye to WBA for £10m.
Not overly convinced but he's ok.

You must have been posting this the minute I was posting 'brown ideye girls' to the fantasy league team names thread, was toying with going with it for the forthcoming season but maybe it's just too obvious. 14m for borini/8m for remy would be fantastic, if hardly inspiring, business.
― ewar woowar (or something), Sunday, 20 July 2014 00:42 (eleven years ago)
Dunno. I'm not that original usually so that seems about right. Still think it's a winner though :-/
― Le Bateau Ivre, Sunday, 20 July 2014 00:50 (eleven years ago)
not entirely sure what remy's gonna do there but congrats to liverpool on their big old pile of players i guess
― r|t|c, Sunday, 20 July 2014 07:43 (eleven years ago)
Everyone spent last season going on about the lack of squad depth so why is addressing that suddenly a head scratcher?
― ewar woowar (or something), Sunday, 20 July 2014 08:41 (eleven years ago)
So many players. Sigh. Hopefully LFC sign half a dozen more and I can quit this whole Prem lark
morata to juventus £16m. RM academy produces a whole lot of talented players almost none of whom end up regulars for the first team.

James in Madrid. €81m
― Number None, Sunday, 20 July 2014 17:17 (eleven years ago)
€36m profit for Monaco in a year isn't bad.
Half of Shakhtar's South American contingent are refusing to go back to Donetsk after their friendly in France this weekend. Could be a few to pick up on the cheap, though Bernard isn't one of them.

as everyone is doubtless gagging for more choice excerpts from your favourites on tour:
Michael (Doughty) and Karl (Henry) enjoyed a game of chess - which Charlie dubbed as 'weird' - whilst Danny Simpson and co. locked horns on Mario Kart wireless on the DS.
A 90 minute bus journey to the hotel followed, before the squad enjoyed a quick bite to eat prior to checking into their rooms for some much-needed rest and relaxation.
But not before Messrs Granero and Henry turned their hand to playing some piano in the hotel foyer ... more of that tomorrow.

Aw yeah, I'm made up about Borini; I was flicking through some classic World Cup pictures just now and realised I totally see him when I look at Ghiggia in the snap above. Hopefully he stays now and gets the chance to do a Henderson.

btw For future reference I've set up the Fantasy Football leagues for 2014/15:

Arnautovic / Diouf / Odemwingie / Bojan will be interesting.
Could free up Crouch to reunite with Redknapp.
― Wristy Hurlington (ShariVari), Tuesday, 22 July 2014 17:55 (eleven years ago)
lol I was actually going to compare Bebe to Bojan earlier, in the sense of prolonged unmerited careers at top clubs. Might be a decent thread idea even.
