Suarez' lawyer might have just leaked something important:

Balbi said that he will meet with legal representatives from the Merseyside club on Friday.

"Tomorrow we will meet in Barcelona with Liverpool's lawyers," he said.

Balbi also claimed Pere Guardiola, the agent brother of former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola, will also be present at the meeting - something which will fuel claims Suarez could be set to move to the Nou Camp this summer.

Aye, he is but that's not really the point. The lawyer is meeting Liverpool's lawyers not in the country where they practice but in another completely unrelated one. Unless Guardiola was unwilling to travel then there's no practical reason for sending the Liverpool legal team to Spain unless they just fancied a holiday. You could argue that Madrid is the easiest place to transit into from that part of South America and I'd have some sympathy with that - and would even support it as reason to pooh-pooh it as evidence of a move to Madrid - but if there's onward travel to make then why not to Liverpool?

Yeah that def makes sense, I was just confused why all these reports were focusing on Guardiola's role rather than the meeting taking place in Spain. If Suarez goes to Barca and Sanchez goes the other way that'd be pretty good business for Liverpool imo.

Not too gutted about the Shaw and Lallana deals, cos being brutal, that's good money for them. We're obviously a far weaker side without them both (especially Lallana), so we'll need to spend wisely and hope the next batch of young 'uns are ready to step up in their absence. Looking at our squad page, I've no idea what our front line will look like come August, other than that Sam Gallagher's probably in there somewhere. Dani Osvaldo and Emmanuel Mayuka aren't listed on the site, even though they're officially still our players; I don't imagine Osvaldo's sticking around much longer, but maybe Koeman will think he can get something out of Mayuka?
