had a gr8 first half but I didn't see the 2nd. appears to be buying into the Arsenal project quite well, quickly takes up good positions & feeds short passes to cazorla/ozil, doesn't need to do much more in an attacking sense

cazorla is a wonderful player, v unselfish, ambidextruous, a great combination player although apart from wilshere, arteta, arshavin there aren't really any players there who could really benefit from that multiplier effect of the technopygmy hivemind

this multiplier is stronger now that it has been for years, ozil and nu-ramsey mean there are often four or five players who can win a game and then kill it, a magic quadrilateral gently shifting its angle and circulating possession around the pitch (with flamini and koscielny providing excellent recovery)

nacho monreal can do this too, providing an outlet when the quadrilateral frays and then recycling possession

jenks though not quite at the same technical level is still poised enough to provide a more cautious version on the right flank

it is pleasing that more than one english player is involved in this kind of passing system. AOC isn't that kind of player..............sadly

he has that anarchic can play anywhere / will play everywhere trait like barkley gerrard etc but he's not stupid and wenger will bleed the worst of that from him

got his work cut out to get regular playing time when he returns, now arsenal have run the epl for three months with their three main wing forwards injured

really quite fervently hoping arsenal win the title. surprise myself sometimes

Carl Jenkinson will be sent out on loan to a Premier League club next season – with Newcastle and West Ham leading the chase to land the Arsenal defender.

Manager Arsene Wenger wants the right-back, who has one full England cap, to gain a full year of top-flight experience next term.

Newcastle, who expect to lose Mathieu Debuchy to Paris St-Germain at the end of the season, have declared an interest as has West Ham boss Sam Allardyce.

Arsenal are considering a summer move for Southampton defender Calum Chambers to replace Bacary Sagna.

Chambers, who is still only 19, has made 21 Premier League appearances for Mauricio Pochettino's side this season after graduating through the club's academy.

He has impressed the Gunners' domestic scouting team on a number of occasions and is seen as a long-term successor to current first choice right-back Sagna.
