'poo is a good player though, technique is fine for his position

this is how avb wants to play, the advantage is very quick transitions but not so good against deep defences

moutinho is a bit like wilshere in that he is a skilled player can do a bit of everything

but there aren't many players like that and they couldn't get him, so instead of that the emphasis is on solidity, with holtby and sigurdsson as squad players who can add something different when needed (and holtby is pretty hard working too)

MLS has had a bunch of brother players. Hell, NY has had 3 of them: John Rooney, Digão, now Bradley Wright-Phillips. Federico Higuain plays for Columbus.

Cbus also had Guillermo Barros Schelloto but he was by far the better of his family.
