i repped for owen coyle back in the day so i will reluctantly concede he is probably better than those other cunts

as a League 1 team i really think the odds of persuading an Ancelotti to come and run a team of Academy prospects is minimal

mclaren is better than league one so you probably won't get him but even then what the fuck sort of skillset do you need to get out of league one? im sure juan mata would score 40 goals there but it isnt entirely clear that even mourinho would get 100 tpts

for me this isn't about the banality of getting promoted straight away tho. we've had fuck-awful football for as long as i can remember and since the owner appears to be a skinflint we need somebody who can maximize the benefit of having a Category 1 youth academy and bring a long-term footballing ethos to the club whether the Cro-Magnon elements of the support get behind him or not

Have seen mention of Steve Lomas for Millwall, in terms of bookies odds anyway. Done a good job here at Saints on a tight budget, had a few early wobbles but has come on a lot. Will be sad to see him go when he inevitably moves on at some point.
