it all feels closed shop. a league has to be bigger with more promotion/relegation spots. None of this 1 up/down or 1 up/down play off pish. 2 up 2 down and if you must then a play off for another like in england with the winner playing 3rd bottom team. Play offs must not be designed to keep current spl clubs that season in spl.

I didn't notice ICT had scored until five minutes after the game finished.

I was supposed to be kicking my absence record into touch today with my dad, but logistics of a 12.45 kick-off meant it was never going to happen.

Sky News twitter missed the ICT goal as well, reporting a 4-0 win for Celtic despite their own cameras covering the bloody thing.

Neil Lennon jumping about in the stand pointing at his left foot when Hooper scored made me smile. Best bit of TV commentary, Crocker and Walker were discussing the iffy offside call against Stokes. Crocker says something about it being too close to call, Walker says you can't blame the linesman for it, unspecified third voice says "aye you can". Dunno if they'd turned on the mikes on Broonie in the studio or what.

Ach, I went to three games and moaned almost incessantly for the rest of the season. I don't really feel part of any celebratory feeling, tbh.

That tit on Reporting Scotland yesterday started the feature about the candidates by explaining that The Rangers players weren't eligible because Rangers weren't in the SPL o_O

Neil Lennon must be a shoo-in for manager of the year, winning the league at a canter and getting to the last 16 of the CL without any of the best players in Scotland.

From the candidates available I'd give both awards to Griffiths for performing consistently well and scoring goals in a poor team.

Yeah, though I think Gary Mackay-Steven may get YPOTY for some awesome skillz, even though Griffiths has been more consistent. I might leave the country if Michael fucking Higdon wins it.

Mackay-Steven is like the SoccerAM Showboat option. He spends a large chunk of most games being ineffectual while occasionally putting together five seconds of gif bait whereas Griffiths is a constant threat/pain in the arse.
