Are there any Luciano Becchio goals that don't involve him stubbing in from three yards out then getting whacked in the face?

William Bloody Swygart, Sunday, 25 November 2012 00:12 (thirteen years ago)

home to Millwall tonight, i get the feeling anything less than a win will see the lynch mobs start to form

Shane Breen is a gigantic tool (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 13:07 (thirteen years ago)

gotta say by the sounds of it idk if he's yer man, fine he gets left a load of deadwood but don't then force them to play a new style and hope for miracles (roger johnson in a high line??) buy yourself some time ffs

i know a wednesday fan who swears danny batth is a big deal btw, is he anywhere near the first team yet?

on the subject idk what's happening at wednesday but it's messed up, either or both mandaric and dave jones have lost their marbles

r|t|c, Tuesday, 27 November 2012 13:47 (thirteen years ago)

he had a terrible season at Cologne last year, but was v. successful in Denmark which is probly a similar standard to our Championship. personally i'm all for giving the guy time to turn the club's ethos around - i'd rather go down again than do well playing McCarthyite shitkicking antifootball - but then i'm not paying to go see them play badly and lose every week. my old man, who grew up in the Cullis era, doesn't see much problem with shitkicking as long as you do it well. fair enough, chacun a son gout and all that.

Moxey and Morgan installed Solbakken far too late and i don't know exactly how tight they've been on the purse springs, there appears to be a shitload of transfer money and parachute payments lying in somebody's bank account. it is, of course, always easiest to blame it on the manager while you rob the club blind.

Shane Breen is a gigantic tool (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 27 November 2012 13:52 (thirteen years ago)

that was about Stale, obviously.

i've heard similar about Danny Batth, but i've gotta say none of our academy kids have set Molineux alight as far as i remember. i shudder to think what they were teaching them in the Big Mick era tho.

a high line with Johnson-Berra and the two worst full backs in the history of football is pretty insane, tbf

Hull manager Steve Bruce called Alan Lee a “cheat” after the Huddersfield striker was involved in a violent incident with Bruce’s son Alex. Bruce junior was shown a red card by Howard Webb for pushing Lee shortly after the end of Hull’s 2-0 Championship win, but Bruce senior claimed Lee had provoked his son by elbowing him first.

Steve Bruce said: “We will appeal. It was cowardly by Alan Lee, I thought more of him, I have had a pint of Guinness with him, I have played his guitar and I thought more of him. Cheat is the right word for him, I don’t use that lightly but that’s the right word for him. He’s 15-and-a-half stone and he went down like that.”

Ismael Klata, Sunday, 16 December 2012 09:34 (thirteen years ago)

what up noodles

0-3 at home to peterborough and o'driscoll magically available, this gets done before the weekend yes?

r|t|c, Wednesday, 26 December 2012 19:37 (thirteen years ago)

Sean O'Driscoll will never win

William Bloody Swygart, Wednesday, 26 December 2012 19:37 (thirteen years ago)

"He can count himself unlucky to have lost his job..." Lovely touch there from the chairman.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 26 December 2012 19:43 (thirteen years ago)

"Nobody likes to see a man kicked while he's down," continued Fawaz al Hasawi, while planting a size ten into the prone O'Driscoll's guts.

Ismael Klata, Wednesday, 26 December 2012 19:48 (thirteen years ago)

wd still love O'Driscoll to get a job but i can't see it happening :(

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 26 December 2012 19:55 (thirteen years ago)

hahahahahahahhhahah those poor bastards

Windsor Davies, Thursday, 27 December 2012 21:15 (thirteen years ago)

Tbh if by some miracle Big Eck can get them into the Prem next season I dont see what he's got lose to keep him from playing a hard-pressing 3-4-3 with a suicidally high line and seeing what happens. Worked for Martinez

Windsor Davies, Thursday, 27 December 2012 21:19 (thirteen years ago)

kinda

Windsor Davies, Thursday, 27 December 2012 21:19 (thirteen years ago)

Hahahaha this never even crossed my mind. Over to you Venky's.

Ismael Klata, Thursday, 27 December 2012 21:45 (thirteen years ago)

r|t|c, Thursday, 27 December 2012 21:48 (thirteen years ago)

and you, middlesbrough

r|t|c, Sunday, 30 December 2012 00:37 (thirteen years ago)

City are a project of crystaline beauty that have dropped unlucky in their lumpen manageriate; still it looks like Barmby's squad will flatter that saturnine mackem cunt

Captain Humberbantz (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 30 December 2012 02:31 (thirteen years ago)

in a world where Henning Berg got sacked Solbakken must be looking up the number of a few removal firms right now

soma dude (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 1 January 2013 19:51 (thirteen years ago)

We've all seen the Diouf photo, haven't we? We've all seen that.

William Bloody Swygart, Tuesday, 1 January 2013 21:41 (thirteen years ago)

no sir i had not. bloody hell. who'd have expected racial insensitivity from a Leeds fan?

soma dude (Noodle Vague), Tuesday, 1 January 2013 21:44 (thirteen years ago)

Wolves have announced that Ståle Solbakken has left the Club with immediate effect. More details to follow.

I'm surprised they've acted so quickly tbh. if they'd shown the same instincts with McCarthy we might still be in the Prem.

soma dude (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 5 January 2013 21:17 (thirteen years ago)

now remind me not to look at any fan comments for another 12 months or at least until i'm less vulnerable to despair

soma dude (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 5 January 2013 21:24 (thirteen years ago)

Mixed emotions I guess?

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 5 January 2013 21:26 (thirteen years ago)

i feel bad for the guy, i'm not sure he was given enough of a chance, he blatantly fucked up with the chance he was given. just looking at the number of signings he's made who've been perma-crocked is bizarre, but on the other hand he inherited one of the worst groups of players ever to appear together in the Premier League.
