i played football (and tbh exercised in general) for the first time in over ten years last night. haven't tried to drag myself out of bed yet today, i suspect my legs won't be able to take it. don't think i SCORED A GOAL actually, amidst goalkeeping incompetence it seemed that i was the only person having shots saved. that rvp-style volley from a long ball falling over my head would've been a cracker too.

Playin three games a week. Gets tougher and tougher and you get lung fitter and leg heavier until about six weeks in, when you finally lose some fuckin weight and the body bows to mastery of the new schedule and normalises.

Scored my first goal in weeks yesterday. Defence totally failed to deal with a hopeful punt in my general direction. Managed to flick it through the keeper's legs with the outisde of my boot like a boss
