Three more of those in a row and he should be ready to hit the bar to speed up England's inevitable quarter-final exit this summer

I didn't find the comments funny, nor did I find the dog photos cute (DJ Mencap), Sunday, 14 February 2010 15:17 (sixteen years ago)

thudd and modric- both in crap form lately (modric back from injury tbf) and that's 90% of our shit form (other 10% dawson's lack of brane and palacios lack of giving a shit intermittently)

quiz show flat-track bully (darraghmac), Sunday, 14 February 2010 15:58 (sixteen years ago)

but i thought modric was the best player in britain

80085 (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 14 February 2010 16:10 (sixteen years ago)

I guess we can lock this one now right

MPx4A, Sunday, 14 February 2010 19:38 (sixteen years ago)

modric off form isn't going to be the best player in britain, don't talk shite

quiz show flat-track bully (darraghmac), Monday, 15 February 2010 10:05 (sixteen years ago)

in the meantime, the best player in britain has been aaron lennon, then david bentley iirc. i may be missing king for 90 mins in there somewhere

quiz show flat-track bully (darraghmac), Monday, 15 February 2010 10:06 (sixteen years ago)

nani was the best player in britain for like a game and 30 minutes until he got too good and got himself sent off

Gareth Bale is now the best player in Britain though

Reports from White Hart Lane that Tom Huddlestone has beed decapitated in a freak coming together with Dutch international Johnny Heitenga

O_O

quiz show flat-track bully (darraghmac), Sunday, 28 February 2010 14:58 (sixteen years ago)

it's only a suspected decapitation

stoke for the shawcross (acoleuthic), Sunday, 28 February 2010 15:01 (sixteen years ago)

guys reports that his head has been attached in an IMMENSE 9 hr surgery and they're waiting to see if it 'takes'

quiz show flat-track bully (darraghmac), Monday, 1 March 2010 10:40 (sixteen years ago)

Gonna need Jamie O'Hara back at this rate. Either that or take a chance on putting a Croatian in the middle of the park. Actually, that won't work either seeing as we have no other fit wide players.

Matt DC, Monday, 1 March 2010 10:43 (sixteen years ago)

o'hara back, surely? would rather have him than jenas all other things equal anyway.

mizzell, Tuesday, 16 March 2010 17:27 (sixteen years ago)

Tom Huddlestone has had 64 shots and scored once, the worst ratio in the top flight

mizzell, Friday, 19 March 2010 16:20 (sixteen years ago)

but he takes all his shots first time from 30 yards on either foot. i'm giving him a free pass on that stat.

DarraghmacKwacz (darraghmac), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:21 (sixteen years ago)

He's the new Tugay!

Maraca Son Sistema (Matt DC), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:21 (sixteen years ago)

^^^okocha morelike

most of his shots are blocked

ilxor lookin' boy (acoleuthic), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:22 (sixteen years ago)

man tugay scored some crackers against us.

DarraghmacKwacz (darraghmac), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:23 (sixteen years ago)

some games Bendtner must be pushing thudd close

Ismael Klata, Friday, 19 March 2010 16:24 (sixteen years ago)

i'll forgive tom 63 glorious misses more than i'll allow robbie keane missing 4/5 sitters.

DarraghmacKwacz (darraghmac), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:25 (sixteen years ago)

Yeah basically he'll score one amazing goal every season and that is. Tugay scored one ripper every season as well, usually against Spurs.

Maraca Son Sistema (Matt DC), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:26 (sixteen years ago)

as i said upthread, he generally takes so long to position his body for a shot that someone manages to get in the way, although i don't know for the life of me why they'd choose to

ilxor lookin' boy (acoleuthic), Friday, 19 March 2010 16:27 (sixteen years ago)

verdict on his latest showing(s)?

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Saturday, 17 April 2010 18:55 (sixteen years ago)

def has that rare ability to piss off drogba

mizzell, Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:15 (sixteen years ago)

not exactly rare tbh

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:19 (sixteen years ago)

that was the joke, iirc

mizzell, Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:21 (sixteen years ago)

what a badly formed "joke"

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:22 (sixteen years ago)

lol I am winding up the aggro in this thread, in honour of Thudd's radge

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:22 (sixteen years ago)

Oh my at that goal of the month upthread - could make a perfectly respectable Premiership all-time top ten from that lot. Where was it hosted from though?

Ismael Klata, Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:41 (sixteen years ago)

Youtube, obv!

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Saturday, 17 April 2010 19:41 (sixteen years ago)

he's not back fully fit as yet, but tbh he's handled the defensive aspects of both games this week brilliantly.

just darraghmac tbh (darraghmac), Sunday, 18 April 2010 00:07 (sixteen years ago)

he's been great. i'm assuming that palacios will play against united, but who do you drop from the team that beat arsenal and chelsea?
BAE, i guess?

mizzell, Sunday, 18 April 2010 03:50 (sixteen years ago)

would like to see bale given license to destroy gary neville tbh

maybe rabbits feel the need to play up their 'lynchian' qualities (acoleuthic), Sunday, 18 April 2010 06:54 (sixteen years ago)

Just watched Neville huffing and puffing vs City on MOTD - if Bale has anything close to Bellamy's pace Neville won't even bother chasing him, though he'll likely have a good go at slowing him down early on.

i would just like to point out that i have been antimony on this thread (onimo), Sunday, 18 April 2010 10:42 (sixteen years ago)

slow him down with a good bumming? :)

tart w/ a heart (a hoy hoy), Sunday, 18 April 2010 12:08 (sixteen years ago)

drop BAE, and there's no actual noticeable change in positioning from bale whether he's sent out at LB or LM imo

just darraghmac tbh (darraghmac), Sunday, 18 April 2010 18:34 (sixteen years ago)

isn't that a problem defensively?

mizzell, Sunday, 18 April 2010 19:10 (sixteen years ago)
