btw thanks guys! The bloke in the hat has got impala shit on his tongue. He posed like that and we're still not sure why. The feller in the background was sick of waiting for us and went up a tree, as you do.

That's the Sowa Pan, a huge giant massive bloody wad of salt in the middle of nowhere except it has polar bears.

A month, but about 2/3 of that was on safaris. Sooo worth doing. I can give you loads and loads of advice btw.

d'oh I meant you were moving the camera while the shutter was open, but you didn't so

I'm a little embarrassed to include this one, given the subject matter, but I really like the result.
I use toys quite often when I'm trying to come up with new lighting and portraiture ideas.
Also this has been post-processed with a fairly heavy b&w filter in LightRoom.

Wy embarrassed? Toys are great to work with, especially when you want to try things with human subjects but don't have the patience.

Here are a few pictures I took during xmas hols. I only took about 20 photos the entire 17 days I was away visiting family. I intended to take more, but... it's too cold to be outside for long in Edmonton in December and my dog will only pose for so long.

Does anyone have any tips/tricks for dealing with light pollution? Usually the sky in my nighttime photos comes out DARK RED. I have figured out how to kind of sort of maybe fix this in LR/Photoshop but is there a way of dealing with light pollution when taking the actual photo?

Also the light pollution thing, could be white balance, but you can alter that in Lr, so i er dunno.
