Like them in that order, I would like campy more if it were substantially cheaper. I dislike the pivoting brake levers with Shimano, seems less safe even though it probably isn't.

Microshift not making the cut?

going out to the canyon i came up behind two neopros on the continental team using microshift. one of them laughed at me when he saw me leaning over while looking at his rear derailler, which was...GREEN.

i just can't vote for sram based on my 5 months with force. it feels plastic-y and occasionally seizes up on downshifts from big to small ring on me. i would hate to have that happen while racing. in addition to my own incredible shade tree wrench skills, i've had two real mechanics look at it and they had no answer for me other than increase the chain tension. didn't work.

I forget which team but at least one at USAPCC was using microshift so I guess it is the same team.

That problem seems odd, I feel I get very exact shifts at the front under load, maybe my load is less than yours. It's not because the cable is catching on the housing or there's a too tight radius somewhere. The one things my idiot mechanics did and got right was increasing the length of the cable housing at the rear which made shifting a lot easier.

yeah, it's the same team from usapcc. the guys are locals though.

it's very hard for me to make it occur such that i can see exactly is happening- it feels/sounds sorta like the chain is wrapping up around the rear mech and jamming into the chainstay, or binding on itself around the cassette.
