how many teams do you think "can win" the 2021 nba title

i feel like i'm constantly listening to podcasts etc where people are like "at least eight teams can win the title this year!" which seems bogus and ahistorical to me. the idea of who "can win" is pretty nebulous (of course any team in the playoffs "can" win) but i wanted to survey the crowd to see how many teams you guys think, in the parlance of the times, really "can win" the 2021 nba title

probably 5

personally, i'm willing to say i think only three teams can win it this year

1. lakers

no explanation necessary here

2. bucks

top two players have been together for years, two time MVPs tend to figure things out in the playoffs, jrue makes them better in the playoffs than previous years, better shooting (or so it seems....)

3. sixers

i have my concerns about some of their guys but i think they might have the best 5 man playoff line up in either conference

teams i don't think "can win" (will win)

nets

don't think you can roll out a team full of holes w/ a bunch of injury prone stars who have barely played together and a coach w/ no experience and walk your way into an NBA title

clippers

two man team that i don't think has ever had "it" and still doesn't

suns

too inexperienced

jazz

not good enough at the top end

nuggets

too injured, not enough firepower

every other playoff team

not good enough

...this prob means it will be clippers-nets in the finals but i'm ready to plant my flag and do away w/ this "any team can win it!" nonsense

my list is the east top 3 and the two LA teams, just on the basis of having premium talent.

the one thing that could get interesting is the crazy seeding in the west giving a team like phoenix an easy path to the finals but i wouldn't give them much of a chance once there.

Any other season i wouldn't give these teams a shot but 2021 is weird so these wouldnt be that surprising to me:

nuggets
jazz
suns

nuggets being forced to up the usage of porter is working out. they are still down two other rotation pieces as well.
