With some hesitation I figured I would start a thread about the latest underground Internet gaming sensation.
There is this new Steam game called "Kind Words" that costs five dollars. As far as I can tell the entire game is that you talk about your feelings and other people reply with, uh, kind words.
I have not personally played this game, but I feel like its existence and popularity says a great deal about the state of the Internet in late 2019/early 2020.
I hope I'm not ruining it for anybody by talking about it.

my version of "kind words" is talking to my dog and then answering back with kind words in her voice (which is my voice)

ah, it's from the Elegy from a Dead World people, makes sense. that's also a sorta game of people writing bits to each other iirc
