Has anybody seen 'Ne le dis à personne' ('Tell No One'), Guillaume Canet's latest foray into directing, starring François Cluzet with André Dussollier, Jean Rochefort, Nathalie Baye, and Kristin Scott Thomas? It's based on a Harlan Coben novel and it's an excellent thriller.

I've kinda wanted to, but no.

but someone was saying it's hard to follow at points, which is a bad sign for me. my film plot IQ isn't what it should be.

It's intentionally so and if you're the kind, like me, to sit back and let them carry you to the end without too much guessing, you'll not be disappointed.

apparently it's a "hit" across the US -- NPR did a bit on it this morning -- so it can't be too hard to follow... ;)

What, how was this movie hard to follow? It's been a while since I saw it, but I really dont remember finding it hard to follow. However, I do remember I found it relatively entertaining. Except maybe for one bit in the foot chase that seemed kinda silly at the time.

good point morbs.

This was released yonks ago in England. But I remember greatly enjoying it, despite its ludicrous overplotting. Kristin Scott Thomas as a French lezbo is the highlight.

ten months pass...

Diverting enough thriller trash -- I really can't believe ppl READ stories like this -- but not a good job camouflaging its preposterousness.

Also too clean and pretty; damn French.

twelve years pass...

Just enjoyed this on MUBI before it leaves tonight at midnight, kept me guessing, although I wasn’t too far off, not sure if isn’t partly due to the remains of an old Francophilia I share with the threadstarter.
