this is exactly the aesthetic (dated and vaguely threatening and/or post-apocalyptic and dark)

i saw this thread before i went out to the pub for lunch and thought it time to add some of the FSOL cover art ..

there are quite a few of their covers that would be appropriate

(love this thread .. off to dig in the archive to see if anything else is suitable .. )

There's this 80s library/electronic album called "information superhighway" or something equally lame, the sleeve is like a low rent bizzarro version of the paul hardcastle at the top of this thread. Digital grid landscape with random modems/telephones/computers/sandwiches flying around. ring a bell to anyone?

brimstead, Saturday, 4 May 2013 19:04 (five years ago) Permalink

The Paul Hardcastle cover is pretty low rent to begin with. I mean, it doesn't get much lamer than lifting the cover photo from a mid-'80s Intel brochure, and sticking your name over it.

Vast Halo, Saturday, 4 May 2013 19:18 (five years ago) Permalink
