A contrarian vote for "Decomposing Composers" here.

Geir Hongro, Saturday, 30 August 2008 19:30 (fifteen years ago) link

Pls no one vote for "Sit on My Face."

Eric the Half-a-Bee.
Christmas in Heaven, Finland, and I Like Chinese just behind. I have th ephilosopher's Song in my head a lot as well "there's nothing Nietzsche couldn't teach ya 'bout the raising of the wrist", "Socrates himself is particularly missed / A lovely little thinker but a bugger when he's pissed".

Eric the Half-a-Bee is up there, as are the Penis Song and the Philosophers' Song.

The ones that lack here lack because they weren't included on "Monty Python Sings".

The CD did include a lot of until then rare gems though, as a lot of the songs from their movies were in there. Including lots of songs from "The Meaning Of Life" (which, as they mention in the special edition, was kind of a musical)

messiahwannabe, Monday, 1 September 2008 18:24 (fifteen years ago) link

Geir Hongro, Monday, 1 September 2008 19:10 (fifteen years ago) link

"Knights of the Round Table", which I'm dedicating to my brother-in-law. A year from now he'll be lamenting "I have to push the pram a lo-o-o-o-t..."

"traffic lights" and "muddy knees" are so worthless, I can't believe they thought those were worth recording and putting out

Calling it "Contractual Obligation Album" was no joke.
