I assume the "US" they refer in the third line is Ultra-Sonic (rather than United States), because they've lifted much of their style from them.

Tuomas, Wednesday, 31 October 2007 21:27 (eighteen years ago)

I have no idea who "The Mystic Man" is though.

Tuomas, Wednesday, 31 October 2007 22:21 (eighteen years ago)

dj dick for the iron raver

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 31 October 2007 22:23 (eighteen years ago)

I don't know whether I should vote for Westbam, Cosmic Baby or Marusha, I have such fond memories of all of them from the era "Hyper Hyper" was released.

Take off your shirt and await further instructions!

The Real Dirty Vicar, Wednesday, 31 October 2007 22:44 (eighteen years ago)

Huh?

Tuomas, Thursday, 1 November 2007 06:54 (eighteen years ago)

ILX System, Friday, 2 November 2007 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

Last chance to vote, folks!

Tuomas, Friday, 2 November 2007 09:08 (eighteen years ago)

Where is the title line?

Geir Hongro, Friday, 2 November 2007 11:30 (eighteen years ago)

Marco Zaffarano, of course.

moley, Friday, 2 November 2007 11:33 (eighteen years ago)

This isn't a poll for whole lyrics, Geir. I might do that for "Move Your Ass" later on though.

Tuomas, Friday, 2 November 2007 15:23 (eighteen years ago)

DJ Dick also did the godly "Weekend"!

HI DERE, Friday, 2 November 2007 15:55 (eighteen years ago)

Huh?

you call yourself a Scooter fan? Listen to 'Move Your Ass'

The Real Dirty Vicar, Friday, 2 November 2007 15:58 (eighteen years ago)

Yeah, I got that a few minutes after my post. I really should do a "Move Your Ass" lyrics poll...

Tuomas, Friday, 2 November 2007 16:01 (eighteen years ago)

Zaffarano!

Siegbran, Friday, 2 November 2007 17:46 (eighteen years ago)

US every time, then Cosmic Baby.. or Tanith for extra old school pointage

blunt, Friday, 2 November 2007 17:51 (eighteen years ago)

Automatic thread bump. This poll's results are now in.

ILX System, Saturday, 3 November 2007 00:01 (eighteen years ago)

No votes for Westbam?

Tuomas, Saturday, 3 November 2007 14:21 (eighteen years ago)

mediocrity has its risks

El Tomboto, Saturday, 3 November 2007 16:09 (eighteen years ago)

eight years pass...

Still not sure who "the Mystic Man" is. Discogs.com lists two artists with that name, but one of them is a reggae singer from the '80s, and the other is a UK hip hop producer who only debuted in the '00s, so I doubt it's either.

I guess whoever HP Baxxter was talking on this tune about remains... mystic.

No the timeline doesn't match, unfortunately.

Found him!

He's the MC that did vocals on Steve Mason rave tracks in the early 90s so wouldn't be credited separately on Discogs.

Wow, that must be it, thanks!

Tuomas, Friday, 9 September 2016 12:22 (nine years ago)

two years pass...

So, is this the first ever track whose lyrics mostly just list other artists in the same genre? (See also "Teachers", "Losing My Edge", etc.)
