So, a poll with no messages (until 10 months later), but a bunch of votes!

I was going to ask the question:

Why did Scott 4 never make the charts, not even a little bit?

I mean, it was released later in the year that Scott 3 and "songs from his TV series" made top ten.

I can understand "saturation point", but not even top 40?

Because it was released as by "Noel Scott Engel"?

Indeed.

1-3 are all very nice, but 4 is where he came into his own. The bassline on The Old Man's Back Again is worth the asking price alone.

Yeah, but it didn't say that on the front, it had "Scott" and a number, like the other three.

I wish he'd released a whole album like the first four songs on Nite Flights.

I'm guessing with his insistence on the name change came a lack of promotion at the record company etc.

Doesn't matter what's on the front if it's not where you expect in the racks.

That's a point.

An entire album at the same level as the 4 Nite Flights tracks would've been so great as to implode, melt through the earths crust and destroy us all. So it's good he only released just enough to ensnare those who listened.
