What's going on in prog-house these days?

we all know about Border Community and James Holden's admission into current dance trends, but what of 'proper' prog-house? Does such a scene even exist? Sasha and Digweed have moves onto slightly fluffy electro/kompakt, Hooj Choons is gone, superclubs (prog-house's main stomping ground) closure. A quick listen round the prog section of juno shows no real stylistic or sonic thread going through any of these records except for the fact they're uniformly a bit rubbish.

so what's up with this former behemoth?

I saw Sasha and Digweed at the Metro all-dayer on Saturday and they both played straight down the line meat n potato prog classics (Sash mixed it up a bit by dropping a couple of "weird" tunes like 'Out Of Control' and started his set with 'I Need A Freak' and he might have even played 'Rocker' at some point if I remember rightly, definitely no Kompakt.) It was a pretty mainstream (very old) crowd so I guess they wanted to keep it simple.

six years pass...

Ran to a new Jody Wisternoff podcast this morning. It started with Mungolian Jetset's Toccata. Nice stuff.
