the new record is two in one; the first sends off their former style in violent arrays of utter stress and shock, climaxing with an 11-minute ceremonial deathspin and then playing it out with a romantic ballad, 'scotch-style. the second is absolutely new, the pomp and glitz of being reborn in 2020 as young and in some violent way optimistic...there's going to be a full-album rendition at some point, but this point of flexion will suffice...for now!
