michael clayton isnt the best movie on the list, but its the best tony gilroy movie on the list, so that

I couldn't get 10 minutes into Duplicity, going with Michael Clayton because I kinda can't remember which Bourne movie is which sometimes

for some reason i thought doug liman wrote bourne identity. i think that one is a cut above. no one seems to agree though.

i kind of love dolores claiborne but maybe i've been able to preserve that feeling only by not having seen it in ten years.

dolores claiborne and devil's advocate are pretty watchable as far as ridiculous crap goes. Thought I've been meaning to watch Extreme Measures on Instant but it turns out I've been meaning to watch Desperate Measures.

i love "Look at this. Look at what they make you give." but that might be the delivery as much as the line. think the Bournes are a wee bit overrated, sort of tempted to go for Devil's Advocate which is pretty hilarious and if they'd got a better Satan than dickhead-era Pacino, might have really been something

I don't know what kind of bowdlerizing Gilroy did to Robert Ludlum in the Bourne movies – did he improve them? I think so, right? If not, then Michael Clayton is his best "project," I guess. From the list of credits he's a hack who got lucky – in the best sense.

Plot

The plot of the movie consists of Adam Sandler playing two parts, a girl and boy twin. Al Pacino plays himself madly in love with the girl twin of the two.

i read Bourne Identity when i was 13 or 14 and from what i recall the film hasn't got much in common with it except the title and the amnesia

Shocked by how badly served Helen Mirren and Russell Crowe were by the material. MIrren's character is Ben Bradlee as Meryl Streep.
