These are pretty great. They're like an alternate universe for me, because all the people of roughly high school / early college age that I saw in the 80's were kind of bland.
No bleached or Robert Smith hair and no berets, other than the one dude with a big flock of seagulls haircut which obviously meant he was gay. These look like John Hughes movie people to me.
And anyone with a Metallic shirt would have had a dirty mustache and a mullet and a jean jacket with a old cut-out metal shirt sewed to the back. Also, they would have called me a fag in study hall.

my friend alison asked me if i would take her friend to the prom. her friend, who i didn't really know, came from a very quiet and traditional Indian family and it was completely pretrifying to go to her house. Magz and Zonez were there too (they are on the other end of me) and we got an 8 ball of coke and tons of booze and we spent half the night outside in the VW bus. My date was, understandably, mortified. I was a horror show and very loud. Afterwards, we went to a party and didn't even bother getting out of the bus. We did coke until 7 in the morning and then Magz and Zonez dropped me off at Danbury High School so I could take my SAT test. i still wince thinking about the whole thing.
