At the request of the wise Samson, I am continuing this thread from its ILM equivalent. Title explains itself.

My answer is the same as on ILM; Kate, Nathalie and Di Smith are goddesses, and Mark S, Dr C, Anthony and Robin C are gods. Why? Because they are.

What is with all the mutual masterbation going on lately? I just wanted to use the phrase "mutual masterbation", carry on. jess is right, compliment someone out of the blue who you don't normally have big ups backslappin' with. I could tell everyone 40 times over right now how much Tracer Hand and Yancey and Matos rule but EVERYONE KNOWS I hang out with those people.

I'd like to say that di usually posts things that I want to say and then go, "No, cos then they'll all get their panties in a wad again" and I think that's a great trait, and Suzy and Ed seem like right cool, smart peeps who'd be cool to have a night with.

I hardly know where to start. There are so many people here who I like and value and enjoy, and without whom my life would be diminished. I think I'll avoid mentioning those I've met, as I hope they have some idea how much I care (and that certainly includes visitors to the UK like Anthony, Felicity and Mary), in favour of mentioning a few I don't know - like the impossibly glamorous, in my mind at least, NYC ILX women, people I chat to on AIM/MSN like Jess, Di, Duane, Chris B, Mel, Cozen and others I like on the board like Sarah McL, Laura, Nicole, Dan, Ned, Nabisco, Julia, Chris V, Josh, Donna, AlexT. Instead of singling anyone out, I think I'll just say that I've given up on a lot of online forums -- real-time, Usenet, what have you -- either because of low signal-to-noise or the near-impossibility of keeping up with them. Don't have either of those problems with ILE. Everyone seems to be a bit smarter and a bit funnier than the average bear.
