Bout five hours ago:

I was partaking in some sort of spiritual powwow with roxymuzak, a pretty well-known critic who used to post on ILX, and some other folk. Someone said that if you just concentrate on the person in front of you, then their thoughts will appear in script floating above their heads. So we were all devoting our attention to roxymuzak and apparently we were having trouble reading her thoughts because she told us "Ok, I'm thinking about The Smiths." And immediately someone said "Yes! And you're thinking about a Smiths book!" "Right. But it's not a book with words exactly," she explained. Then I said "I got it! You're thinking of a songbook. And the songbook is....Hatful of Hollow!" "You got it!" Script never appeared floating above her head.

I should mention that the scene was exceedingly warm, fuzzy, and peaceful.

Monday morning: I was showing J0hn D. down to a north shore-style beach, something like Manly, but we got distracted by Huey Lewis playing a free concert on an elevated reserve on the promenade. Lewis was chunky, mulletted and slightly balding. He was backed by Ben Lee, playing drums on a kit made entirely of chlorine buckets of varying sizes. The whole scenario confused me so much that I woke up.

onimo cropped up as i was watching a typically psychedelic football match to inform me that Celtic never wore anything but their home kit, and when I asked what they'd wear if away to Plymouth Argyll he said "oh, they'd wear the claret then"

dreamt that i was at a stereotypical 80s-teen-movie house party and kenan arrived in a rickshaw drawn by two women. he was wearing a kind of tight-fitting fast-food server's uniform -- i couldn't tell if it was real or if kenan was making a fashion statement.

ps no offense dude, but i don't really want kenan in my dreams

Last night I dreamed I was invited to Abbott's birthday party, among some other ILXors. However, I couldn't afford to fly to USA, which made me sad. Abbott was at the airport waiting for the other overseas guests to arrive, and they were all pretty surprised when I came there anyway. I told them that I couldn't afford the plane ticket, but I was using some sort of state of the art technology to project a holographic image of myself across the Atlantic Ocean. Everyone thought it was weird, but they were still happy that I could attend the party this way. I remember that I too thought this technology was kinda weird, as it allowed me too see and interact with thing on another continent. We drove to Abbott's house, it was very picturesque, I think it looked a bit like the house the Moomins live in Tove Jansson's Moomin books. I can't remember much about the party itself, except that it was fun. At some point, when most of the guests had already left, Abbott lead the ones who were still there to the attic. The attic looked exactly like some other attic I've dreamed of years ago, but I can't remember where I've seen it before. I think we smoked some weed at the attic, but the reast of the dream is very blurry, I can't remember much more.

Had a dream involving my ex who's name is Jackie, who turned into my friend Butch (his wife's name is Jackie), who looks a lot like and subsequently turned into ZS, who got a call on the landline (was in a childhood house). I got seriously pissed that he was answering a call when we were in the middle of a thing, and after he hung up he was all "I'm a DOCTOR. That was a PATIENT."

So like congrats on yr MD, Z.

I dreamed that Grady showed up at this open house benefit that is happening in real life this Saturday. He was just standing in the doorway waving, and then came up gave me a hug. I said "What are you doing here?" He said, "I saw on facebook that you needed an extension cord, so I thought I would bring you one," and indicated the extension cord with a gesture; it was sitting coiled up on a nearby couch. I laughed and introduced him to a friend saying "this is my friend Grady." He laughed and extended his hand to the friend saying "actually my real name is Michael Gradient."

I dreamt Nabisco said I had to stay off the John D thread cause, basically, I was a retard. He had posted this three page long comment, I had followed it with sth silly, hence the "stay the fuck off" this thread. Roffle.

Had a dream I was at a BBQ with Whiney G Weingarten in a suburb somewhere. Our parents were there, relatives. It was like a family picnic almost? We were the cool younger kids. Turns out my mom(!?!?) wanted us to go pick up some weed for the party "from a nice old woman at the hospital downtown." So we drive down to the hospital (Whiney is a horrible driver) only to find that, "It's a common mistake, but you need to go to the Medical Center on the other side of town." So we drive over there and procure weed from a nice older woman. It was really cheap. She gave me change from my twenty then made fun of us for not being very "smooth" in the hand off. Then when we were driving back for some reason Whiney decided to take a shortcut through a boggy forest and the car got stuck in a ditch. We climbed out and walked back to the party. When we got back to the party, we smoked weed and ate cheeseburgers.

Sounds like real life.

Last night I dreamt I was on ilx (jeez) and in my dream, sic was following me all over the boards making horrible insulting and mocking comments to me, and posting my posts to the o_0 threads and laughing at them and stuff.

dreamt that lj was giving me a tour of his caribbean island homeland in a two-seat airplane. at some point he quoted a lynyrd skynyrd lyric, but i don't remember what the line was.
