I already tested her with phone call along the lines of "hi dere I bet you think I've been working but I've actuallybeen in the pub all day!" so I think fright mask might be pushing my luck tbh, sharp objects or not.

I'm almost out of wine and I'mon the last bottle beer. The house is usually full of bouze. I've been slacking. There's still a cupboard full of spirits but that's a bad idea on top of so much bweer and wine, especially when I'm planning on doing it all again tomorrow.

Pokey eye stories are horrible. If (ok, when) my vision starts to fail I am Mr Spectacles. none of this laser surgery or contact lens stuff.

Oh I just watched that the other day - the special effects (particularly the sniping stuff) looked realistic to me, and while totally gross, were also kind of cool.

Shooter is a movie-zation of a Stephen Hunter book. He wrote an excellent series, starting with Dirty White Boys.

He's moved on now to books about master sniper Bob Lee Swagger's father Earl, who was a badass in his own right. I miss Bob Lee, though.

I should read a badass Stephen Hunter book.
