Best Album on My Favourite Albums of......2005!!

The 1st Torche LP is a thing of beauty still.

Good year. I played LCD Soundsystem the most back then and quite a bit in recent months after seeing them last fall. Will probably vote for them.

Sufjan Stevens, New Pornographers, Sleater-Kinney, MIA, Art Brut, he-who-shall-remain-nameless, even the Go-Betweens all put out favorites at the time, maybe even the best albums they've ever done (or in the cast of the Go-Betweens, their best from their later years when McLennan and Forster reunited).

Spent a weeklong 2005 road trip with Silent Alarm playing on repeat. Haven’t had many similar immersive experiences since, so of the list, that one.

Unpopular opinion but I'll go with Boc - my favorite album of theirs

Went through a "I totally forgot about this band" thing with the Out Hud record a year ago. Holds up!
