i have trouble believing it is real

I remember my cousins had a really small dachsund and a really big brown doberman. it was the best dogcombo ever.

wilter, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:08 (fifteen years ago) link

srsly the temptation to post dogsicles is almost overwhelming

white celine, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:10 (fifteen years ago) link

I like this daschund because 1. we get along and 2. she tries to bite my SIL's husband and I am kind of sympathetic to that.

my neighbor in middle and high school had a dachsund that destroyed their house so i'm scared of them.

tehresa, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:11 (fifteen years ago) link

Yeah, there's a reason we don't actually get a dog... potential destruction is one of them. Also, we don't have the time, especially during the school year. Even our one remaining cat is neglected!

Sara R-C, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:12 (fifteen years ago) link

i can not have any pets until i have $$$ and my own apartment, i think. :(

tehresa, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:13 (fifteen years ago) link

i cannot have any pets (again) until i am 'responsible' and 'make good choices'

remy bean, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:13 (fifteen years ago) link

My aunty breeds meremmas!

(she used to breed poodles)

(and siamese cats)

wilter, Thursday, 26 June 2008 23:14 (fifteen years ago) link

Time and money are two things I'm feeling frustrated about. They are precluding more pets for sure.

I have never heard of a meremma!

Also awesome: 100 calorie snickers bars

tehresa, Friday, 27 June 2008 00:57 (fifteen years ago) link

That gives me warm fuzzies and paradoxical poisonous envy. I had waaaaay too much fun in Minneapolis last Friday night.

Sara R-C, Friday, 27 June 2008 00:58 (fifteen years ago) link

There are 100 calorie Snickers bars?

Do they come in dark chocolate coated form?

Sara R-C, Friday, 27 June 2008 00:59 (fifteen years ago) link

HI DERE I AM IN DC

And waiting for Tombot and pondering beers

Ned Raggett, Friday, 27 June 2008 01:26 (fifteen years ago) link

I am pondering why my neighbors think it's acceptunle for their shitty band to play a backyard show on a school night, thus keeping me from my room and the cleaning thereof.

tehresa, Friday, 27 June 2008 01:31 (fifteen years ago) link

Pondering is good.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 27 June 2008 01:37 (fifteen years ago) link

I am pondering why I am going to walk on the treadmill for an hour and a half instead of what I want to do, which is to lie down and sleep for 40 hours.

Ned, is there anywhere you're NOT going on this trip? (Aside from Twin Cities, APPARENTLY nag nag nag)

Sara R-C, Friday, 27 June 2008 01:39 (fifteen years ago) link

There will yet be a time. It's NYC after this, then home. Been a good vacation on a number of levels.

Ned Raggett, Friday, 27 June 2008 01:43 (fifteen years ago) link

Sara R-C, Friday, 27 June 2008 02:01 (fifteen years ago) link

tehresa, Friday, 27 June 2008 02:04 (fifteen years ago) link

my "vacation" (no one calls it that here - we call it holiday, even tho that's not really correct) begins in 2.5 days!!

Rubyredd, Friday, 27 June 2008 02:06 (fifteen years ago) link

sara, i am going to maui!

tehresa, Friday, 27 June 2008 02:08 (fifteen years ago) link

Sara R-C, Friday, 27 June 2008 02:18 (fifteen years ago) link

Sorry, I was called into a surprise meeting with someone high up in the BBC, don't you know. It was so long I had to excuse myself for a comfort break, which is always embarrassing. I expect you've probably retired for the night now?
